8 Month EVS Opportunity in France

If you are interested in engaging with young people in an educational environment and promoting intercultural and linguistic awareness amongst students, this EVS opportunity in France will provide you with work experience of supporting an association that develops trainings for young people. 

 

  

Project: MFR du Domaine de la Saulsaie

This project will take place at Domaine de la Saulsaie MFR, a local association that develops trainings from second year of highschool to technical diploma in agriculture (2 years after highschool).

The volunteer will support the MFR staff to promote intercultural and linguistic awareness amongst students and to support the organisation of pedagogical and spare time activities. Tasks will include:

  • Take part into some workshops of Services to the Individuals, horticultural production and vegetable production classes according to the preferences of the EVS
  • Support with accompanying students during school trips or professional’s events
  • Participate in visiting interships of the students.
  • Participate to workshops that prepare students to leave for an internship abroad

When does the project start? October 2016 to May 2017

What does it cost? This project is a European Voluntary Service project under the Erasmus + programme and therefore fully funded through the European Commission.

Except for the travel, you may have to contribute towards some or all of your travel costs to this project as it is a replacement for a volunteer who fell ill and therefore the budget has been used up.

Who can apply? Anyone aged 18-30 at time of application, UK resident before and after departure, valid passport for at least 6 months year after end of activity.  No criminal records.
