Get Down and Dirty This Weekend!!!

With UNA Exchange’s Weekend Workcamps

I am pleased to announce the arrival of a new member of the UNA Exchange family, the Weekend Workcamp. This January and February UNA will be running two weekend projects, a first for UNA Exchange. The purpose of these projects is both to give those new to UNA Exchange a chance to discover what we are all about and to give experienced volunteers a new way to enjoy the heady mix of volunteering and debauchery that is so famous and well loved by all! Everybody is welcome, young or old, rookie or veteran. So check the dates at the bottom of the page and get them in your diary, these dates are not to be missed.... When weekend workcamps are firmly established within UNA Exchange you will be able to say, with great pride, I was there at the start....... Go on, you know you want to!!!!!!

These weekends will last from the Friday to Sunday and will involve a group of ten volunteers coming together to complete a specific task, in true workcamp style. The cost of the weekend will be £10 waged, £5 unwaged. This will cover all transport to and from the pick up point and all the food and accommodation for the weekend. We will prepare our meals together and sleep in accommodation which is as close to the site as possible. These weekends will be a great chance for new volunteers to get to know UNA Exchange and for experienced volunteers to try some thing new.
