You will work on three main tasks during their stay. The first task will be to rebuild the garden of the children´s house. They have already planned an action on the first weekend of workcamp, where the parents and volunteers will work together on setting new water play equipments and paving the ways. Secondly, the volunteers will help transforming a huge forest and meadow land into an educational garden of the association. The work will include clearing vegetation and building a fence. Furthermore the volunteers will help with the renovation of “Mehrgenerationhaus”, which means wallpapering and painting the rooms.
Location: Johannesberg is a small village with about 3.000 inhabitants and is situated close to the city of Aschaffenburg in the northern part of Bavaria. Coming from any directions, already from far away, visitors can see the baroque church, which was build in 1769 and is located on the highest point of Johannesberg, 367 meters above sea level. Volunteers will have an opportunity to discover and enjoy the beauty of Johannesberg - diversity of nature, the fascination of fields, forest, meadows and fruit trees.
