 Youth Music Promotion
Before EVS I had the feeling I needed to do something completely different and new. This programme was exactly what I was looking for. It was not only good to improve a language but a good way to learn new professional skills. I remember taking the ferry to the UK with a big rucksack, my accordion in one hand and my guitar in the other. It was not the easiest journey!  After training and learning about the organisation I started to organise and promote gigs in Cardiff. I also organised a summer festival with bands from my home in Brittany. Having this responsibility was the ideal way for me to gain confidence and professional skills. I will miss my life in Cardiff and the house I shared with other volunteers: we had a lot of parties and met a lot of people from all around the world. Its amazing to think what I gained in 6 months.
