Aug 04  NICEIM NOSAKA - Japan
Japan agriculture

Having a great time, dealing with 'piggie excretions' every day.  Used a chainsaw for the first time the other day when we were cleaning a field for new pig pens!

Did a one night farm stay and ate the most delicious sushi.  Every other night, we have been enjoying wonderful organic pork and vegetables.  Lovely!

We have been going to the beach which is a 20 min cycle ride from here - the farmer running the project has given us all bicycles!

We are staying in a 100 year old Japanese traditional farmhouse, which is amazing.  Although, the toilet is 'interesting' and we have to cover ourselves in mosquito spray every night.

Have been learning Russian card games and Japanese drinking games.  Brilliant!
