There are lots of ways you can get involved with UNA Exchange to support the development of young people and communities across Wales and the wider world. As a not-for-profit organisation (UK registered charity no: 1158106) working to provide accessible international volunteering opportunities, we rely on the generous donations and fundraising activities of our supporters.
One-off and regular donations are easy to make. To donate by post, please send a cheque payable to ‘UNA Exchange CIO’ to UNA Exchange, Temple of Peace, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3AP. Alternatively, visit CAF Donate for a secure and quick way to make a single donation or setup a monthly payment.
Fundraise for us
Challenge yourself and do something amazing this year that benefits young people and communities across Wales. Charity fundraising is highly rewarding and great fun – especially when undertaken with a group of friends or work colleagues.
Have you thought about taking part in the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon that takes place each October or the Snowdonia Half Marathon in May? You could run the 21 km (13 miles) and raise funds through sponsorship.
This autumn you could set yourself the challenge of completing the Cardiff 10k or the Bangor 10k.
And for those looking for the ultimate challenge, there’s Ironman Wales (a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a 26.2-mile marathon) that takes place in Tenby each September!
Whether you are looking to beat a ‘personal best’ or simply want to try something new, the UNA Exchange team are here to help. Get in touch to discuss your ideas, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Work with us pro bono
Do you have a professional skill that you would like to share and develop in a voluntary capacity? Whether it’s design and marketing expertise or experience in donor and alumni development, then we would love to work with you. Perhaps you’re a student or later career professional with a little spare time to share, then do please get in touch. Email our Director: email@example.com.
Corporate sponsorship and in-kind contributions
Through the goodwill of businesses and partner, third-sector organisations we are able to achieve even more with the money we generate. This includes donation of food for residentials for young people, provision of venue space to run events, free of charge, and delivery of professional services without cost.
